Studying isn't reading.
It's remembering.

Drop in your lecture notes, slides and readings. Loris turns them into short recall sessions that adapt to whatever you keep forgetting.

No card required · Works with PDF, DOCX, Markdown and plain text

How it works

Three steps, ten minutes a day

Loris doesn't summarise for you. It asks you questions, watches what you get wrong, and brings those back at the right interval.

1

Bring your material

Upload a folder of slides, a reading list, or paste text. Loris extracts the concepts that are actually testable.

2

Answer short prompts

Sessions are five to eight questions long. Anything you miss is queued for review instead of silently disappearing.

3

Let the schedule do the rest

Review timing adapts to your accuracy, so weak topics come back sooner and strong ones fade out.

Features

Built for the week before exams

Everything is optimised for retrieval practice — not for generating more text to read.

Source-grounded questions

Every prompt points back to the page it came from, so you can check the answer against your own notes.

Adaptive scheduling

Spaced repetition tuned per concept, not per deck. Difficult items resurface without you managing anything.

Progress you can read

A weekly view of retention per topic, plus a list of concepts that are still fragile.

Works offline-first

Your library stays on your device. Sessions sync when a connection is available.

FAQ

Common questions

If something isn't covered here, write to hello@loristaiforstudy.com.

Where does my material go?

Uploads are processed to build prompts and stored in your notebook. They are never used to train shared models, and you can delete a notebook at any time.

Which formats are supported?

PDF, DOCX, Markdown and plain text. Scanned PDFs are handled by an on-device text pass before upload, so image-only slides may lose some detail.

Can I use it for a whole degree?

Yes. Most students keep one notebook per course and archive them at the end of term. Archived notebooks stay readable but stop generating new prompts.

Is there a student discount?

The Student plan is already priced for students. If your institution runs a cohort programme, the Lab plan includes shared notebooks and a retention dashboard.
